Pistol by Annex Punk Rock Music Sex Pistols Band Poster Fine Art Print
Emerging from London, The Sex Pistols originally began from the band Strand in 1972. The members were working-class teenagers, who played their first gig at Saint Martins College. In 1977 the Sex Pistols was signed to A&M Records and released God Save the Queen a few months later. This single became extremely controversial and many large chains refused to stock the single, as the single was timed with Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee celebrations. Only a week and a half after the records release, it had sold more than 150,000 copies.
